About Lobalabs

Lobalabs began with Víctor and Pablo, two Spanish engineers with a shared interest in well-made products, good design and the small things that make everyday life better.

The idea behind the company is simple: find products worth making, and make them well.

Where the idea came from

We have always wanted to understand the products we use: what is in them, how they are designed, and which need they meet. That curiosity took us from users to makers.

Engineering shaped how we work: name a need, study the options, test and improve. That is how Lobalabs started, with the wish to apply that approach to different parts of life.

How we work

Every product starts with a question: what can it give the person who uses it?

From there we look at the decisions that set its quality and its use: the choice of ingredients or materials, the design, the comfort, and how easily it fits a routine.

We also think choosing a product should be simple. So we explain, plainly, what it is, what it is for, and how to use it, with information that helps someone decide.

Raíz Viva: our first product

Raíz Viva came from one of those situations.

For years, Reka had been preparing and testing her own blends of plant oils for her hair, adjusting ingredients and proportions until she found a combination that worked particularly well for her.

A conversation about those homemade treatments eventually led to a simple question: could this become a real product?

Together, we began turning that personal formula into something that could be produced consistently and offered to others. Reka contributed her experience with the formulation and product concept, while Lobalabs worked on its development, production and launch.

The result was Raíz Viva, a pre-wash hair serum made with plant and essential oils.

It became the first Lobalabs product not because we had decided to become exclusively a haircare company, but because it was a product we believed was worth making.

A look ahead

We want to widen the range with products for personal care, sport, wellbeing and everyday life. We are interested in things that help people look after themselves, stay active, enjoy free time, or make ordinary tasks more comfortable.

Each new product will follow the same rules: useful, well made, attentive to detail, and clearly explained.

Behind the project is Lobalabs Designs OÜ, based in Tallinn, Estonia. Víctor and Pablo lead the company.
